Vintage Equinoccio Folding Wooden Basket

Vintage 1970’s Equinoccio Folding Wooden basket.

A fantastic and highly unusual collapsible wooden basket, designed in the form of an apple.

Beautifully crafted from layers of shaped wood, the ingenious construction allows the basket to fold completely flat and expand into its distinctive sculptural form.

The warm natural timber and striking organic design give it a fantastic 1970s Mexican folk-art / Mid-Century aesthetic. A wonderful decorative piece for collectors of Equinoccio, vintage Mexican design or unusual wooden objects.
